Our thoughts on responsibility

Reflecting on swimming
|
Term 3 and 4 concepts are RESPONSIBILITY and REFLECTION. This means we will be looking at our responsibilities to ourselves (SELF), our community (LOCAL), our nation (NATIONAL) and the world (GLOBAL)... This ties in beautifully with learning about ourselves in Life Education, the elections and our school show item on the theme of global warming.
Responsibility is - Doing the right thing at the right time (and the right place) Taking care of ourselves Helping others Looking after our world Looking after our families Being Cyber-safe (Keeping safe on the internet) Caring for pets if you have them Picking up rubbish Doing our duty (like following school rules when teachers aren't around) |
We are writing recounts on our swimming lessons to share with you. These will be published on student blogs. Recount is our writing focus this year, this means that we are learning how to write great recounts, using correct structures and developing editing skills. At the end we will complete a reflection.
Reflection is (coming Term 4)
